When you join The Phone Co-op there are NO set up charges and NO need to change your number. But there are LOTS of benefits!

	Savings of up to 80% on international calls, 50% on national calls and 25% on local calls. 1p minimum call charge (compared to BT 4.2p). You can continue to pay line rental to BT or your cable provider OR you can choose Phone Co-op line rental.
	Cheaper Calls for friends and family. You can have a COMPLETELY FREE 0845 number that will enable your friends and family, living outside your local area, to call you for the price of a local call. This service would cost over £360 a year from BT and The Phone Co-op are charging nothing. Additionally, BT would charge 6.5p per minute to receive the calls, again The Phone Co-op will charge nothing.
	Automated Access. If you have a BT line you can have calls rerouted over The Phone Co-op Service. Automated access is free for anyone spending over £50 a quarter with BT. If you spend less there is a one-off charge of £5. Simply tick the automated access option on the application form. Cable users access the service by dialling a prefix code which can be programmed into your phone.
	Cost Code Billing. If you live in a shared house or work from home, The Phone Co-op offers a free cost-code billing service which allows you to allocate a two-digit code to each outbound call. Your Phone Co-op bill will then show your calls sub-divided by code. Please note this is not compatible with automated access.
	Supporting the Environment. The Phone Co-op will be canceling out all (if not a little bit more) of the CO2 generated by customers' telephone calls and that of running The Phone Co-op through membership of Climate Care. At the moment this amounts to several hundred tonnes of CO2 for the calls alone.
	Broadband and Internet Services. Phone Co-op Broadband provides a high-speed internet connection and allows you to use the phone at the same time. Prices start at £18.99 inc VAT per month. Alternatively, you can register to the unmetered service which provides free calls to the internet for a £14 a month, pay as you go 0845 service.
	Raise money for TB Alert while you save money on calls! In return for marketing the service to our supporters and therefore saving their advertising costs, TB Alert will receive 6% of the call spend of our supporters. Forever!
